corbyn has not got a prayer of number 10.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but what'll happen if the Tory party depends into civil war, it could make them unelectable.

Too long until the next election even if Cameron is deposed.

I think he's too busy trying to hold his own parliamentary party together.

If there's a vote of no confidence on the government, there could be an election soon.

Yes he's a cynical opportunist that one. Somehow it's supposed to be okay because he has floppy hair and makes people laugh.

Any explanation or Corbyn's sudden conversion to remain yet?

There's no mystery about Corbin. He's respecting his party's official policy. After all your banging on about democracy would you rather he was dictatorial and forced his will on the entire party?

If so it's a bit rich to accuse Corbin of having double standards isn't it.

For me I had some respect for him but I think now he just looks like a hypocrite. He could say the party line is...... but I will not comment or assist either in or out.

He was on Channel 4 last night advocating staying in the EU.

He has addressed several meetings advocating staying in the EU.

The Tory party are at war ;)

I like this bit ......

"More than half of our annual net immigration – 188,000 people – comes from outside the EU anyway. There are no European laws that limit in any way our ability to control them."

No. I'd rather he told the truth.

There's no obvious problem with each member of the parliamentary labour party making their own decision on this matter.

There are members of the PLP who are openly for leave. Don't see why Corbyn can't be one of them. Lying is not an honourable option.

Why is this even party political? Isn't it a free vote, like Corbyn did with Trident?

Exactly right.

A tragic story of what happens when a rich country isolates itself, takes catastrophic economic gambles.

Argentina, decline from one of the world's top 10 richest economies to modern economic basket case:

Or a tragic story of what happens when socialism is tried. Again. True Socialism requires isolationism. There's no question of this happening in the UK. This referendum is not about that.

This would be most likely if the Brexiteers cross the floor.

As I understand it, there's a time window to see if anybody else can command the confidence of the house.
