Its worth noting with all this RemaIN or Leave the EU that a further 8 EU Member countries are now giving serious consideration to running their own referendums on leaving the EU as well depending on whether the UK opts to leave. This includes Sweden and Denmark to name but two. It should also be noted that these are stand alone countries like Britain who pay vast amounts into the EU whereas the poorer countries would stay members.

The likelihood of Germany going bust if the UK and other countries were to follow suit and leave would make a significant impact to those remaining countries.

When he was Mayor of London and lobbying the government to relax the immigration laws, I'm sure that the current EU immigration rules applied.

Thats not what you said. You said he said the EU rules were too restrictive. He didn't. Hes always been for a flexible global skills based immigration policy with no special access for roma gypsy thieves or bulgarian sex offenders just because the EU demand it. Which I fully back as a sensible policy that puts our British interests first and foremost.

If we have a need for someone we get the best person regardless of where they are from. If we don't need someone then door shut. Immigration that we control in our interests not imposed on us by Juncker.

Looks like a few more will be coming in if remainers get their way,

"Government slammed over leaked telegrams hinting at visa-free travel for Turks"

So you think that the UK has such an influence over the EU policy? It's refreshing for a Bexit supporter to admit that the UK has such a big say on how the EU is run.

Of course. Our current non EU immigration rules are incredibly restrictive because any bugger can wander in from the EU. Once out of that we need a more flexible system that meets OUR long and short term skills needs. But the remainians have been burbling that those of us who wish to take back control must hate immigrants for so long that they believe their own pish now.

Where is the cheap Labour going to come from?

The point is, currently mass immigration is seen by those in power as being in the UK's interests. So I can't see anything changing post-Brexit. The immigration issue for the referendum is a red herring, and if people are voting one way in the referendum because of immigration then as I said, I think that they're in for a little surprise post-Brexit.
