green_man Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 We do rate Long and he is definitely worth another look now Adkins has come in. He was meant to be off out on loan for a bit longer back to Motherwell but this doesn't look like it is happening immediately anyway. Long was thrown into a team when wholesale cuts were being made and in all fairness he did fantastic. Let's not forget his age and lack of first team experience at that time. He has a role to play at the club and will no doubt get the Number 1 jersey at some point again in the future but that doesn't mean we don't need another keeper in now. GVOWL Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 To be honest Gazza, the Brayford that was on loan is totally different to the Brayford we signed, he doesn't seem to be the same player at the lane anymore, but maybe Adkins can get him back to his best, only time will tell.. Do you think he's been cloned Longy? I once saw a film with arnold swarzenegger where they did similar and it took a long time before anyone cottoned on to what was going on so it is possible.
