harvey19
Was it? Because Bonzo is like a country. Is that what makes it sensible? I despair if you are unable to understand that when I asked Bonzo how many he would take in I was referring to him personally in his home. How many immigrants are you willing to house in your home ? Cyclone
I despair if you can't see the difference between the country taking in refugees and individuals taking immigrants into their homes. The two are entirely incomparable.

I don't want to pay for your kids to go to school, or for you to see the doctor, or for the police to attend you house when you get burgled. Cool? Berberis
Not sure if this is how it should be done but it seems a damn sight better than picking them up and bringing them home! Stood by to receive incoming rants of racist, non humanitarian et al. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-33110575 I think if people come to the Uk illegally, they should be treated a such and immediately returned to where they came from. However, this does need to go hand in hand with having an accessible system for people to claim asylum, but this should be done outside of our boarders, not within. Hots on
..........me personally? I sense a loaded question? Spit it out and stop beating around the bush. Like I said, life's to short for silly games. Typical dodge from a typical immature goodie goodie that doesn't live in the real world.

You are expecting others to resolve the problem. By the way how would you identify legitimate refugees from illegal immigrants and where would you house the refugees ? You are expecting others to resolve the problem. I'm expecting the state to deal with the issue. And we're talking about refugee's, not economic migrants. When a Brit retires to Spain, do you think they go and live with a Spanish family? Why would you expect anyone to answer patently absurd questions? By the way how would you identify legitimate refugees from illegal immigrants and where would you house the refugees ? They are already identified. If they are refused refugee status and stay then they become illegal immigrants. I would expect them to be given temporary help, until they find work and start earning their own living. It's not difficult to figure out. ---------- Post added 24-06-2015 at 21:07 ---------- I already did that so don't worry yourself. You think? Do you even pay enough tax to be a net tax payer. Particularly if you've made use of the school system and will get a state pension. ---------- Post added 24-06-2015 at 21:09 ---------- Not sure if this is how it should be done but it seems a damn sight better than picking them up and bringing them home! Stood by to receive incoming rants of racist, non humanitarian et al. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-33110575 The entire thread is started on the false axiom that refugee's ARE illegal immigrants. If they are genuine refugee's, then they are simply not. Illegal immigrant almost exclusively means illegal economic migrant, an entirely different thing to someone fleeing libya.
