feilnoster
Try him with some nice hard fresh carrots. I gave my dog peeled raw carrot for the first time the other day thinking he would love it. He just chewed it up into tiny pieces and spat them out leaving a pile of carrot on the floor.

katkin
Ailsa our first dobe wouldnt touch fruit and veg, but Jesse is a proper veg-dobermann. She steals the stuff I give to my rabbits! Carrot, cauli, celery (CELERY? yeuk) and loves apples, pears, raspberrys and almost any fruit. She's not a fan of lettuce but LOVES cucumber. OK she's just a bit weird... My boxer goes crazy for apples, the amount of drool he generates is other worldly!
*Wallace*
Do you core the apples ? The seeds aren't good for dogs think the same goes for grape seeds.
flibble
We gave her pair once and she loves it. I'll give the carrots a try and be prepared for the orange mess!
*Peaches*
The seeds have a small amount of a toxin in them, but they'd have to eat a load of them, I learned this not long ago when I rang the vets to ask after one of the dogs got hold of the guinea pigs apple cores
flibble
I looked at the ingredients to dentacrunch after you mentioned it and realised there's minimal meat in. Changed to Wainwrights, which has meat as the first ingredients Edited June 18, 2015 by flibble
