InigoMontoya
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-33132704 Two gems there - Town officials will decide on Monday whether to close the beach to the public. And A helicopter was launched to search for the shark. There's something awfully familiar about those two sentences, which can't but help fill me with a sense of foreboding…

medusa
Searching for the shark in a helicopter. What description are they using, dorsal fin and teeth? It's quite easy to spot a shark from above, unless it's in seriously filthy water. The big shock would be if they find half a dozen of them, all meandering about and doing their own thing. Jeffrey Shaw
The cited link was about sharks. But http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-33143367 shows a raccoon surfing on an alligator. Some water's safer than other. (Er, don't try this at home, kids)
