Musical Theatre Summer School for kids

This fun, jam-packed summer school for 6 to 18 year olds will give pupils the opportunity to work alongside professional tutors to prepare and perform songs and scenes from the two hit musicals "Shrek the Musical" and "Matilda the Musical".

 

A fantastic week where you can:

• Improve singing technique, breath control, tone, tuning and harmonies.

• Learn scripted scenes, develop characterisation and explore vocal range.

• Use dance in combination with song to increase stamina and enhance co-ordination.

• Work as team to improve performance skills.

• Gain performance experience, heighten knowledge and build confidence.

• Make new friends and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

 

At the end of the day on the Friday the pupils will perform to friends and family in the end of week show.

 

Where?

The Summer School will be held at King Edward VII Upper School, Broomhill, Sheffield, S10 2PW.

 

When?

From Monday 17th to Friday 21st August between 9am and 4pm.

 

Age range:

For pupils aged 6 to 18 years. (Mature 5 year olds will be considered).
