RonJeremy
Private?? That's disgusting jumping the NHS queue and getting someone at a time and place to suit you. It's an outrage that you are assisting a two tier Health service.

Timeh
There are a few routes camhs/Dr? But for private: Is it for assessment or therapy? http://www.bps.org.uk This is the British psychological society Or for therapy try bacp which is British association for counselling and psychotherapy Or therapy bapt or ptuk for play therapy Or ukcp psychotherapy lists Great stuff. Thanks for that, Its for an assessment initially and then potentially some therapy as well. ---------- Post added 17-06-2015 at 11:41 ---------- easy one that, couple of swift slaps to the back the legs from mr parent:o :hihi: Ill pass that on lol. ---------- Post added 17-06-2015 at 11:44 ---------- I recommend Maria at http://www.collinsdonnelly.co.uk/page.php?domain_name=collinsdonnelly.co.uk&viewpage=Profile It's certainly worth reading her profile and that of Kate which is lower down the page to see the breadth of their experience. Maybe ask if you could have an initial chat with one of them. I've only known adults that have worked with Maria (and they had good results) so i'm recommending on this rather than direct knowledge of young people Thank you. That link was very informative and ill be passing her details on. Thank you again. ---------- Post added 17-06-2015 at 11:46 ---------- Why would you not want a GP involvement? Why is that even important? ---------- Post added 17-06-2015 at 11:47 ---------- if i were you i'd go through your Drs. then there is a secure paper trail & documentation. We tried a private psycologist mentioned on this thread & I definately would not recommend them for a child. Could you expand a little on that please? If you prefer you can pm me? I promise it will be in the strictest confidence. ---------- Post added 17-06-2015 at 11:48 ---------- Private?? Bludragonfly
Why would you not want a GP involvement? Maybe because it would leave a paper trail that might affect future career options
