mafya
This article sums up why the charleston shooter should be called a terrorist= http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2015/06/why-the-charleston-shooter-is-a-terrorist.html ---------- Post added 20-06-2015 at 05:00 ---------- For the uneducated a terrorist is a person who commits murder to further a political agenda of some kind generally claiming membership or affiliation with a group with a similar political agenda. Mr Roof on the other hand is a loner who hates people of colour. He styles himself as a white supremacist wearing a British flag as well as a flag of the now defunct Rhodesia. He has no known connection to any group His murder of those black people was committed out of sheer personal hatred. A crime of hate This article sums up why the charleston shooter should be called a terrorist= http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2015/06/why-the-charleston-shooter-is-a-terrorist.html Read the article in my post Harleyman and read the bit about the federal definition of domestic terrorism and then maybe re educate yourself eh! Roof is a non Muslim Terrorist!
blake
If the man was a Muslim, what then? If this person was Muslim and he shot white people, he would be labelled a terrorist. Simple as that. you don't exactly lead the world when it comes to objectivity, do you? Pentagon will not label 2009 Fort Hood shootings as terrorist attack http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/oct/22/pentagon-will-not-label-fort-hood-shootings-terror/?page=all the perpetrator of the 2009 Fort Hood shootings and the killer of 13 people, Nidal Malik Hasan, is a Muslim and yet the crime was classed as 'workplace violence', not terrorism. not that this will make any difference to the likes of Bonzo77 who even though Muslim mass murderers like Hasan are not automatically labelled as terrorists by the Americans, will continue to try make out that they are. The likes of Bonzo77 already decided years ago that Muslim mass murderers are always labelled as terrorists in the USA and will not allow anything as awkward as the actual facts which show that they aren't, get in the way of their pre-conceived notions. Roof is a non Muslim Terrorist! I'm not really sure what the point is in trying to differentiate between a terrorist and a racist killer. The end product is always the same... people are badly injured or die at the hands of violent people so just lump them all together under the name killers if that makes everyone happy I'm sure the families of the nine black people who Roof killed aren't too concerned with the terminology either. They just want to see justice done. ---------- Post added 20-06-2015 at 05:54 ---------- If the gunman was a loan wolf, but a Muslim. He would be a terrorist. ---------- Post added 19-06-2015 at 23:07 ---------- Yet if he were a Muslim, it would be the fault of all Muslims. loraward
Then that sentence was complete verbal diarrhoea was it not? Only if you lack the rational thinking skills to ignore the word which is so obviously the incorrect word, and replace it with the word which should obviously be in its place. If it's so obviously incorrect why did you write it? If the word which should be in its place is so obvious why not just use that one?

harvey19
Maybe it is time for an expression of sympathy for the victims, their families and loved ones instead of squabbling over words.

Your report actually goes further to prove me right. Major Nidal Malik Hasan was an American. Not only that, he was a member of the military! Americans killing Americans on their own soil, definitely not terrorism Although in this case the killer was Muslim, I stand corrected on that front. ---------- Post added 20-06-2015 at 10:02 ---------- If it's so obviously incorrect why did you write it?
