This particular church has undergone many, many attacks in the past from white extremist individuals and groups. That's more than enough evidence. If this person was Muslim and he shot white people, he would be labelled a terrorist. Simple as that. Well that's a no brainer. Most people these days would assume that he's connected with Al Qaeda or ISIS and carrying out an attack on their behalf. Roof on the other hand is not connected with any known white supremacist group. Just another sick, crazy white individual who likes to shoot people. Where's the evidence to connect him with any group so far? Well don't politicians and others do that already but don't suggest that every bigot would be capable of or want to do what Roof did. And don't think for a moment that bigotry is just a white thing. They are doing so as they think they see disparity between this situation and others and feel they are standing up for a group that is wrongly labelled. However what they are really doing is driving a wedge between these groups by seeing something that isnt there and trying to champion it. I ask any of these people claiming this is a terrorist attack and if the man was a Muslim this would be immediately be considered so to: 1 - Provide an example of a Muslim killing none muslims that was not a terrorist attack but was labelled thus by the media. 2 - Provide a reasoned argument as to why this person is a terrorist by giving evidence of either political, ideological or religious aims for these actions.
