sicily100
Hi, I have an elderly father that likes walking! We are going to Scarborough in a few weeks time and i wonder if anyone knows of any short, flat walks we can do in that area? Best wishes
Vaati
Scarborough is really hilly. So mostly the sea front.

carltoncdx
Have a look at this place http://www.hayburnwykeinn.co.uk/ It is on the old Scarborough to Whitby line which is now a footpath. you can park at the inn and have a walk on the old line or if your feeling fit have a walk to the waterfalls on the beach. Tess
I was also about to suggest Hayburn Wyke. Its a lovely walk down the old tracks and like Carlton said, the beach itself is also beautiful. I might be wrong but I believe there is some fairly flat walks round Raincliffe Woods as well.

Glennis
I like walking along the front, start out in the morning, sit on a bench, have an ice cream, then some lunch, sit on a bench again - then get the bus back up the coast -open top one, of course.
