levisage
I've always liked this old one out towards Mayfield Valley: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.363668,-1.555179,3a,75y,191.29h,82.4t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s7YdRWqU8MZo6FBlhlrqSwg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Makes for a good photo at sunset. taxman
Easy question. The beech tree at the Hunter's Bar entrance to Endcliffe Park is my favourite tree in the whole world. This one, although the website claims that it is a weeping ash. That used to be the view from my office
Chazndave
The one in the field right in the middle of Wadsley Park Village. The ground dips round it and the ground is high round the back of it. So its a picture perfect photo. It is beautiful in every season.
jezzyjj
Mine has to be this one in Ryle Road, Nether Edge, just because of its bonkers location, makes me smile every time I see it. That's in Ryle Road, not on Ryle road http://goo.gl/maps/mEb4g I've always had a soft spot for that one too.

markfor
From this site I was reminded of the tree (Beech?) Hunters Bar Roundabout/Endcliffe Park Had a look yesterday and it is spectacular (cut straight at bottom) ---------- Post added 24-06-2015 at 08:24 ---------- I read somewhere that Amey gets paid £2000 for every tree they cut down Is this true??? If so there will not be many trees left!

markfor
URGENT Very impressed by Dave Dillner on BBC Radio Sheffield today - he truly understands the complexities of this situation and the many difficulties facing SORT (Save Our Rustlings Trees) on 1 July. We are calling on you to come down to the Town Hall at 1pm on Wed 1 July - and just give us an hour of your time - to show support, before we go into the full council meeting at 2pm. We are extremely aware of the responsibility on our shoulders and we would ask for your support and patience in 'our' battle on 1 July so that we too may join you in your battle - so that we can win OUR war. Please let the SORT people who have spent weeks prepping for this meeting and have raised 8,000 signatures to get it, speak first at the meeting (as we are raising citywide points - you'll see). Thank you. Mark Forrest tree eco warrior
alchresearch
Mine's this beast at the bottom of Beaver Hill Road, Woodhouse. The Google street view doesn't do it justice, its huge. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.363138,-1.37059,3a,75y,158.54h,99.23t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sJDZZJEtdbnwZADrEeq2L6A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
