We welcome a new singer to our club CELENE DEANS

BIRMINGHAMS QUEEN OF SOUL This lass had worked with some real class acts and i sure she will deliver a top class night of entertainment

Make sure you catch Celena Deans. A supremely talented singer and entertainer, Celena assures audiences of a wonderful upbeat night Celena started singing from an early age, and her talent was spotted by her music teacher at school, who told her she had an ear for music. When able to, she started singing in her first band in Birmingham, which led her into the world of session singing, where she worked with Alison Moyet, Neville Staples (fun boy three) and even recorded demos for Samantha Fox! Alongside session work she also worked with her own all girl trio who achieved top 40 success in the 90’s, working with producer’s, Mike Peden (Massive Attack, Emma Bunton and Will Young), George Duke and De-Influence. More recently, Celena was support act for The Temptations, in Spain.

After taking a break from the music industry for a few years Celena decided to use her talent again and entered the popular talent show, the X-Factor in 2005, and proved that she had still got it by getting through 75,000 people to become one of the X-Factor boot camp finalists of that year. Unfortunately she did not win but it inspired her to put together her solo show.

Celena sings soul classics from the likes of Anita Baker, Jocelyn Brown, Rose Royce and Whitney Houston to name but a few, but also performs songs from current artists such as Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott, Alesha Keys and Beyoncé! Celena’s set shows off her natural talent to sing and entertain any audience, and her song choices will fill the room with melodic memorable tunes with a real kick that have not lost their appeal over time. This is a show not to be missed. A must for any occasion!For the last two and a half years, Celena has graced the Costa Blanca with her soulful tunes, and can be seen at many restaurants and bars along the coast and is building a stable and consistent reputation there :love:
