It's crumpet..

A pikelet is much thinner and larger in size, it is more like an oatcake in appearance.

Me and my best friend of 25yrs have always had this argument :)

Indeed it is, it is almost pointless compared to a crumpet.

Youre best mate should choose their best mate better. Anyone who calls it a crumpet is worse than Hitler, no, worse than someone from L**ds.

A colleague of mine who's originally from Bolton asked me the other day if I wanted anything bringing in for my lunch whilst he was out, I asked him where he was going and what he was having and he said 'probably just some turkey on a barm cake'

I told him to get out of my office.....:hihi::hihi:
