cassity
240x120 is the largest standard I believe. You may be able to order a special from Arnold Laver.
tzijlstra
Yeah I was going to suggest Arnold Laver. MDF is produced in standard slabs though, just the way the process in factories works. My dad used it to cover a wall in his boat and would have ended up with a 3cm gap because of the width-limitations so he ended up using two halves combined instead. Leah-Lacie
If you go into Homebase they have sizes of MDF in store that they don't have on the website. They also cut it to size for you - I was building a dolls house and took them the exact sizes I wanted and they cut a large sheet into all the small pieces I needed. More expensive than Wickes and B&Q though, and obviously having to go into store eliminates the option of delivery.

Not really something to be recommended...

cassity
er, why not? MDF, water and high moister content are not great allies.
hyper
er, why not? 1. MDF is carciagenic(sp?), not good for a confined space 2. It's very heavy and dense compared to ply - I would have thought minimising weight on a boat is paramount
xdbx
old thinking, you need to be brought up to date http://www.laver.co.uk/content/mdf Forgot to add, you could ask at Richardsons in Firth Park. Edited June 30, 2015 by xdbx
ianparkin
Have it cut to 7ft long and 2'6" wide and join it down the length with biscuit joiner or domino's
