Whole family off to Syria.

There seems to be billions for certain things but not for stuff like libraries, respite care, lollypop men etc

Everyone who bangs on about the UK not being able to afford stuff, or saying we should help pensioners rather than refugees misses the point. The government, us, taxpayers, could pay for it all, could help everyone, if we didn't **** so much money up the trees bailing out bankers, helping hedge funds and buying weapons of mass destruction.

Bailing out the banks helped millions of people, building and managing weapons of mass destruction keeps people employed and keeps millions of people safe.

Both are far more important than libraries and lollypop men and without banks we wouldn't have much of anything.

The way things are heading WMDs might be handy at some stage. We need to end the situation where families are quite prepared to risk their lives on the high seas in a lilo - if not the numbers now will be a drop in the ocean (no pun intended) compared to years to come.
