Can the state force someone to have NHS treatment?

Recommended Posts

Only a Court could decide that.

Eh? If only a court can decide why do we have psychiatrists and the state regularly sectioning those deemed to have serious mental disorders?

I don't think state can or should force someone to have NHS treatment. Moreover, NHS does not provide free treatments for some issues like toothache!

So you'd rather see your family and friends die rather than be forced to have medical treatment?

Because, clearly, a disordered person cannot take informed decisions. Post #9 dealt with a person of sound mind.
