You'll see the UAF protest against extremists who spread hate against other cultures, until it's Muslim extremists preaching hate at which point they are nowhere to be seen.

UAF are a tool of the mainstream political parties to fight fascism in the best tradition of anti fascists they are abusive and confrontational as their opponents. They are going to attract nutters and idiots, they really should reassess some of the people in the organisation but I'm not sure we can say they are more dangerous than the EDL.

 

As for fighting extreme Muslims, the extremist Muslims use very different tactics to the EDL partly out of necessity because unlike the EDL their protests and organisations are banned but also because they are using subtle clever tactics of persuasion to brainwash the young Muslims, frankly I think the UAF aren't really up to that sort clever game. We need different tactics to counter the extremist threat, the aggressive street politics of the UAF or EDL are not the answer.
