Well I believe that their politicians and people have as much of a sense of history as we have. So here's my theory. Yes of course they would, because it would be in their interest to stop us going under. It's worth remembering that in the 1970's when the IMF loaned us money to stop us going under. Why? Is the UK part of the Euro? I thought you didn't want to be part of that club. The EU would have unreservedly (without the UK being in the Euro) in 2007/2008, but Cameron's politics are increasingly isolating him and therefore this country and he is doing that because of people that think the EU is a massive conspiracy (ie. like you).
