truman
Do you also agree with him that Evolution has been disproved by the Science of Creationism? Do you realise once the errors were corrected in his research paper he had to concede he had shown the climate was warming? http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/12/science/earth/12climate.long.html?ex=1281499200&en=2588a631b8c5cc5d&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss Your ref. for Spencer is 2005...mine is March 2010......have you read it or just been happy to try to knock him? Made any headway on the other list yet? Edited March 29, 2010 by truman

Wildcat
So you think all those scientists are not credible? Does it impress you to read lists of hundreds of Scientists that deny Evolution? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Level_of_support_for_evolution#Creationist_disputes_over_the_scientific_support_for_evolution Do you think any of them are credible? Looking at your list I can see a number of names I recognise as being fraud's like Tim Ball http://www.desmogblog.com/dr-tim-ball-the-lie-that-just-wont-die

Wildcat
Oh look the "Creationist" strawman...... I expected better of you... obviously your position on GW is becoming harder for you to maintain so you bring another argument into it... Why is it a Strawman? You seem to be impressed with a list of a hundred scientists. Many of whom are listed here: http://www.desmogblog.com/global-warming-denier-database people that have already discussed on the thread as being without credibility. It seems perfectly reasonable to ask you, if you are impressed by such petitions, whether you are also impressed by Creationist ones. The parallel is obvious in that in both cases the Scientific consensus is being challenged by petitioning Scientists claiming to know better than those that are experts in the subject. Berberis
Professor James Lovelock (Gaia theory) speaks about climate change and how it does not conform to the models used to predict future climate change. http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8594000/8594561.stm Interesting, I would say. JIbbo
Professor James Lovelock (Gaia theory) speaks about climate change and how it does not conform to the models used to predict future climate change. http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8594000/8594561.stm Interesting, I would say. Not really. ALL previous models of climate change had the earth warming continuously since the late 1990. The fact that it hasn't has proved those theories worng. James Lovelock is basically stating no matter what we do were screwed and its out fault for building civilizations ! As the record winter cold testifies, he says, global temperatures move in "jerks and jumps", and we cannot confidently predict what the future holds. However NOT ONE SINGLE proponent of global warming in the 1990's was predicting record cold winters ahead for the northern hemisphere. "snow would be a thing of the past" etc and numerous other quotes.
