Am I still allowed to question climate change?

Ii have done along with your contribution on Met Police Commissioner resigns over hacking scandal

You seem a bit of a conspiracy theorist.

So do the people who are setting up parliamentary enquiries and making arrests concerning the issue you allude to.

Someone who believes conspiracies exist at all is not the commonly understood meaning of a 'conspiracy theorist.' What I pointed out was that the particular conspiracy you drew up, apparently on the spur of the moment, was so far fetched, ful of holes and utterly lacking in any evidence whatsoever, as to be quite comical.

As an interesting side note to this resignation, it would appear that the Hadley CRU (Climategate) also have connections to Neil Wallis.

http://climateaudit.org/2011/07/14/covert-operations-by-east-anglias-cru/

Neil Wallis of Outside Organisation was arrested today in connection with the spreading News of the World scandal.

Last year, Wallis’ partner at Outside Organisation , Alan Edwards, was profiled in Music Week in a story that led with:

Don’t tell the conspiracy theorists. But one PR company was at the centre of the Michael Jackson funeral, Climategate and Naomi Campbell’s appearance at Charles Taylor’s trial in The Hague.

Edwards is described as the “man who has also helped shape the careers of Amy Winehouse, Blondie, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Cliff, David Bowie, Spice Girls, David Beckham, P Diddy, Kevin Pietersen and Shayne Ward” and the man who masterminded PR for Naomi Campbell’s trial. Outside Organisation’s handling of Climategate for CRU was described as “more covert”.

Less apparent is its work in the corporate field, where its activities tend to be rather more covert. “We don’t advertise a lot of the things we do,” says Edwards, who was called in by the University of East Anglia when Climategate blew up. “That was really interesting. It’s very high level, and you’re very much in the background on that sort of thing.”

The university’s Climatic Research Unit wanted Outside to fire back some shots on the scientists’ behalf after leaked emails from the unit gave climate change skeptics ammunition and led to an avalanche of negative press about whether global warming was a real possibility.

Perhaps the head of the CRU should also resign?

I've just come across this article in the Guardian:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/jul/28/arctic-scientist-polar-bear-oil

It suggests that a high level US climate change scientist has been suspended from his work (which focussed upon the plight of the polar bear in the melting Arctic) due to lobbying pressure from oil companies that wish to open up ANWR to oil drilling.

When objective NASA satellite data, reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, show a “huge discrepancy” between alarmist climate models and real-world facts, climate scientists, the media and our elected officials would be wise to take notice. Whether or not they do so will tell us a great deal about how honest the purveyors of global warming alarmism truly are.

And who is James M Taylor when he's at home?

A guy who gets paid to smear reputable scientists by the Heartland Institute.

Who are the Heartland Institute?

According to physicist and author Mark Boslough -

“The authors of Heartland Institute publications, including Schmitt, refuse to play by the rules of science, which include integrity, honesty, and peer review. Heartland does no research, but generates reports containing, among other things, fabricated temperature data and doctored graphs that are intended to undermine evidence-based science.”

Heartland have been funded by Exxon Mobil and Philip Morris tobacco among others.

Why try and shoot the messenger fishy, he's only passing on Nasa data, not very good at this are you, stick to shouting from the back you're good at that.

I see you've not chosen to try and dispute anything I said about James M Taylor and the Heartland Institute, but went for a personal attack on me.

Very telling.
