Cyclone
Why should I do that? You were the one who claimed that the Australian report about them was important (to us). You didn't even provide half the story though did you, and actually getting you to explain or validate your opinion is like dragging blood from a stone. You will be saying that our recent flooding, is just natural, the fact that is what climate predicted is just a coincidence?
Staunton
According to the free market think tanks there is no such thing as climate change. Oh, except the insurance industry, who beg to differ - citing the remarkable global increase in forest fires, floods and the severity of hurricanes, which hurts their bottom line. Oh, and the GM lobby who say that because of climate change there needs to be a removal of all regulations (that's deregulation) on the use of GM. melthebell
did anybody see pictures of that vast arctic glacier "field" the other day, thats melted and now is an arctic lake?
El Cid
Seems so, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_floods I dont think that wikipedia is very good at up to date detail. Since the 1970s the number of days with more than 10mm of rain-fall has gone up by over 25%, yet the total amount of rainfall has gone down slightly. Which is a factor in our increased flooding.
