spilldig
Green taxes add up to less than 3% of total Government taxes, so the big deal about Green taxes is just a tabloid headline. It's 3% that would be better left to us to spend instead of wasting it on something that is going to happen anyway, and 3% is a heck of a lot. Why is there such a difference in the raw data and the graph that GISS produced? The raw data shows a drop in temperature but GISS represents this as a rise... the question is genuine..can anyone explain how these two graphs can differ so much? Well there is at least one journalist ( George Monbiot ) who thinks Christopher Booker- writer for the Sunday Telegraph, should be pensioned off or at least have is 'facts' checked before his work is published. http://www.theguardian.com/environment/georgemonbiot/2011/oct/13/christopher-booker The NASA - GISS site has some incredibly good stuff. http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs_v3/

Mikes10
Its Booker messing about, I can't find the data. Why just point to a single weather station, its Booker and his agenda, very poor journalism.
