London tube strike today,selfish??

Recommended Posts

todays general tube strike is causing chaos all over London, how selfish is this? these strikers are hitting every hardworking person trying to go about their business in the capital, not forgetting the tourists bringing money to the city.

how can TFL allow this when some of their drivers etc are on 100k plus a year, disgusting behavior.

yes it should! certainly in cases of public service, personally i think striking full stop should be punishable by the sack.

Right, so when youre boss abuses his power and makes your working life hell or cuts your hours or wage or both, youre saying you shouldnt be able to do anything about it?

Unfortunately during my working life I have seen the management-Union struggle first hand. You would think there is a happy medium but there isn't .When the Management has the upper hand they rub the workers faces in the dirt and when as in this case the workers have the upper hand they get greedy and want more and more. You watch in a few years, because they will strike every year every tube worker will be on more money than the Prime Minister.

Maybe so but not in this case, they've been offered an extra £2000 and they're still not happy.

OK. Give then an extra £5000; let TFL increase fares by 10% and everyone's happy... lol

they are never happy, but thats unionised workers for you, they think they have TFL over a barrel and holding the capital to ransom , i hope they call their bluff
