Ub40 Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Having issues with my Freelander td4 ES Automatic set off its not pulling..but once get going it fine, I'm sure I can hear some noise when engine is on can anyone recommend someone who knows about them contact me plz, I remember years ago there were chap in Chesterfield near roundabout who fixed 4/4 does anyone know of him as I'm not going to main dealers to expensive Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AMR67 Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 I had a BMW 7 series Auto which started slipping in 1st gear, it was a nightmare doing uphill starts etc. Took it to M&T Transmissions and all it needed was the oil and filter changing in the auto box - job done, ran perfectly after that. geared Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Yea another vote for an oil and filter change on the gearbox. Sorted my mates Zafira out when it was slipping gears - this was despite the technicians at Vauxhall saying it was 'lifelong' oil and never needs changing :nono: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
