Obelix Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 The solubility of lead in water is very low, so as long as the water hasn't been stood in the pipe for a long time it's perfectly safe. It generally used to be said that if you had a lead supply pipe then you would run the water for a few minutes in the morning. Or flush the lavatory a couple of times to clear it out.
