Oh our poor MPs

Recommended Posts

What is also being ignored is that he viewed it necessary to DRIVE 352 yds instead of WALKING it Lazy or what? Thats a brilliant example to set from a member of a government thats trying to promote exercise and a "green" agenda

How much does it cost to process a 9p claim? I remember reading about when dog licences were 37.5p and it costing £5 to process each licence.

That's an argument for either raising the cost of dog licences, making their processing more efficient, or abolishing them, as happened. It doesn't have any relevance to whether employees should be reimbursed when they pay expenses out of their own pocket. Expense claims don't exist in order to cut costs, but in order to ensure that employees aren't unfairly paying business expenses. Either way, regardless of the cost of processing any expense claim, that cost will end up being on top of the expense rather than one cost offsetting the other.

Really not sure as to the relevance of this?

Are you insinuating that your MP is your pet? Or that they should be treated as dogs?

Same as who pays for a bricklayers or a nurse or a road sweeper.

So? the NHS? The Council? or Hassall Homes?

Not sure of your point?

Neither. Just that I'd like to know how much it costs to process each claim and whether there should be a minimum value before they're submitted.
