tzijlstra
Tell us more about this. I'm intrigued. If you can't see how a 14 year old can be worth more than a misogynistic, forever complaining miserable sod, than I fear there is no saviour for you in the afterlife. Good job that doesn't exist, but human decency does!
drummonds
I really don't care about your lack of humanity or your terminal lack of empathy. I know a Roma lad of fourteen who's worth ten of you. and there's things in our pond worth ten of you. perhaps you should get out more.
Jonny5
I really don't care about your lack of humanity or your terminal lack of empathy. I know a Roma lad of fourteen who's worth ten of you. And yet, just to feel a bit better about yourself, you'd encourage thousands more to make that trip. Sick. Or thick?

Guest
http://i100.independent.co.uk/article/10-myths-about-the-uks-migrant-crisis-debunked--bJiNkKwaml An estimated 641,000 people immigrated to Britain in 2014, 284,000 of them for work, which is the highest ever annual figure. While the government puts a negative spin on this, the truth is that Britain's economy has started to grow again, which makes it attractive as a place to seek work - and both right and left leaning think tanks say our growing economy needs them. What's more, after India and Mexico, the UK is the country that sees most of its citizens emigrating elsewhere, at a rate of around 3.5million a year - so it's give and take. 2. Immigrants aren't stealing your jobs After borders in the EU were opened in the mid 2000s, many eastern Europeans did come to the UK in search of higher paid work than they could get at home. However: recorded unemployment rates went down between 2003 - 2005, and recorded vacancy rates went up slightly. ...rest in the link

The Office for National Statistics estimated there were 64.1 million people in the UK in June 2013, a rise of 0.63% on the previous year. Just over half of the growth was accounted for by natural change - births minus deaths - while net migration represented 46% of the rise. But, and you choose to ignore this on purpose one might say, unemployment did come down, didn't it? And the UK economy did grow, didn't it? The figures aren't really useful anyway, as they represent both EU and non EU migration, but the fact is, despite doom-thinkers like you, that migration is not taking away jobs.
