Channel tunnel problems! caused by the illegal migrants.

The other thing Cameron is doing is to reduce the amount claimed in benefits to try to encourage the workshy into work. Hopefully this will work and generations of families will not be trapped in the awful situation of having a life on the dole.

Why won't Cameron put a stop to that then if he is that bothered about immigration?...........instead of blaming the EU?

Cameron is not able to control the EU they land in southern Europe and because of open borders there is no restriction on their movement until they try to gain entry to the UK at our border controls which are in France this is the first time that they are challenged and if they cannot set foot on UK soil they are not able to claim asylum in the UK.

The problem lies in the Mediterranean as that is where they first reach Europe.

Because it means that migrants will still be coming over to take the jobs that British workshy won't take because they don't like/are not used to the conditions.

I didn't ask that though did I?.........I asked why he doesn't stop British business employing migrants over the British if he is that bothered about reducing immigration.......especially if they are offering 'illegal' wages.

Cameron doesn't really care about the situation he is merely paying lip service to appease the population. Why would big business men care about it when they can benefit by wages being held down. More unemployed means less leverage for a decent wage. Workers who share accomodation on the scale that single immigrants usually share have lower living costs. Plus they have little idea of housing law and generally settle for lower standards. Not those from established EU membership but Migrants from poorer backgrounds and countries where lower housing standards exist.

It's nothing to do with the British being workshy, working should improve your life, for many British people working for very low pay won't improve their life, but it does improve the life of the many migrants that are happy to live in overcrowded conditions.

Cameron runs the country when it comes to laws on businesses offering illegal wages to employ migrants over British...........I never mentioned illegal immigrants and controlling them.

Yes,but that won't suit the anti migrant brigade will it?...........British business is offering low pay and wants to employ migrants over British, and we already established that the British will not put up with migrant working conditions, which is what British business are looking for in many cases.

So you are saying that Cameron is a liar on immigration?...........he has just been voted in on the back of getting re negotiation with the EU,especially on migration..........you just kicked that plank right out from under him and are saying that the Tories have pulled the wool over the great British public, when they could have voted in UKIP who would have done the job they wanted.

There are laws about it hence it's ILLEGAL. ANd he's increasing the minimum wage. Your post makes no sense.

Some British business only offers low pay because it knows there is large supply of migrant labour willing to work for such low pay, cut that supply of cheap labour and they will be forced to increase the wages on offer.

One of the advantages of living in this country is that people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. This means that evidence has to be gathered to prove guilt. Not an easy process, especially when those being exploited do not know the law, or even if they do feel that what they have is better than what they had.
