Recommended Posts

Hi,

I keep seeing adverts for Capita call centre in Rotherham they are always advertising I thought about applying to them however, I am wandering if they are always advertising then surely they must have a high staff turnover - Anyone know what it's like to work there?

It used to be Ventura. So if you search Ventura I'm sure you will get some info. s call centres go its not that bad. Usual high turnover and big ego managers. However there are worse places to work. Late hours was the only thing that did it for me.

And it was Club 24 in Leeds before that... :)

After finishing Uni, whilst trying to find a teaching job, my son did a few months at the NPower call centre down at Manvers. I wouldn't say he totally enjoyed it but the money was good and they seemed to treat employees pretty well.

Hi I retired from Capita in June this year, (not many can say that), and was in Npower when I retired. Worked at Capita from 2010 and found that as long as you worked at improving they supported you. If you take the <REMOVED> you will out in no time. The work patterns can be a problem if you have not got your own transport.

My daughter has just left after eight months which was always her intention. She said "if you can turn your mind off it's ok but hardly fulfilling". She also said the best thing about it is the people she met who were an interesting bunch but the company itself while pleasant enough to work for weren't worth expending any loyalty on- apparently it's quite common for people to leave without giving notice.
