They don't exist any more, they were an eyesore of an estate in the 80s in North Sheffield, near the Infirmary Road Tesco.

 

It got pulled down over 10 years ago, and a lot of its former residents now live up near me on the estates in lower Stannington.

i used to live there when i was about five

I was one of the last residents there during the clearance programme. There's quite few old kelvinites on here who often reminisce about the good old days.

My partner lived on Kelvin Flats around 30 years ago up to being middle teens. He often talks about the times he had with all his mates. If you lived on there during the 70s or 80s please reply.

Good old Kelvin flats, used to go past them on the bus on my way to school. I was always told to duck, watch out for the snipers!
