Blackbeard Posted August 3, 2015 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Just checking my credit card bill from my last trip to the USA last month, found the Hertz contract and remembered this thread, it says. “Fuel Responsibility Starting Level 8/8 You agree to replace fuel used or pay a refuelling charge $9.89 per gallon OR $ .521 per mile driven.” Needless to say, I filled up the car and kept the receipt as proof, as I always do, I have never been challenged and always make sure the returns people give me a final bill showing that the car was returned with a full tank.
