After 6 months away, Burly Q is raring to return to Queens Social on Saturday 26th September, and we are incredibly proud to present a stellar line up of international proportions, including possibly the most fierce, fabulous and feisty quartet of femme fatales to ever grace the Burly Q stage!

Burlesque superstar, chanteuse and compere Polly Rae is Jessica Rabbit and burlesque legend Gypsy Rose Lee combined, and is famed for bringing Burlesque to London’s West End in the critically acclaimed ‘The Hurly Burly Show’ with William Baker (who has produced shows for Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, and Rihanna).

 

Recently crowned winner of ‘Best Burlesque’ at the London Cabaret Awards 2015, Polly also placed in the Top 50 burlesque performers worldwide by 20th Century Burlesque Magazine, and we are delighted she is making a very rare appearance outside London just for us!

In 2012 New York-based pin-up model and burlesque performer Bettina May was awarded the first ever green card from the USA based on her outstanding ability in burlesque and pin-up modeling.

 

Confirming her status as ‘an alien of extraordinary ability’, (United States Immigration) Bettina is also a much sought-after pin-up photographer and vintage stylist, working as aconsultant for period films and running her own successful pin-up makeover classes – watch this space for details of workshops coming very soon!
