Norton Hall farm.

I have not seen Sheffield for many years so can't remember the location of a farm but would Norton Grange have been the farm, I believe that the word Grange was often used for outlying farms. The farmland does seem to be on that side of the hall with the parkland to the west.

 

Wikipedia says " In 1929, 43 acres of land previously occupied by tenant farmers was purchased "
