GLASGOWOODS
Not slow to pick up on it,they aren't off to wherever they want: Yet, this freedom of movement and more importantly, the freedom of establishment enacted under Article 49 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU, are realities which apply to almost all of us European citizens, including non-European legal residents, and which are not made available to the approximately 1.5 million refugee persons legally residing in the EU's 28 member states, nor to the 250,000 yearly newly recognized refugees in the EU. The latter are by way of their refugee status and in compliance with the Directive on Qualification, granted long-term residency. This residency is however restricted to the national territory where their asylum claims have been positively processed. But often times for these persons, these are not countries of first choice or priority as destination places. Have you ever heard of the term 'moving the goalposts'? Germany hold the big stick over the rest of Europe. What they say goes.

RonJeremy
So how long until the European way of life, whatever that is, is destroyed? It rather depends on how many of these people are Muslim fanatics. And how many we let to Europe. 1m people, 50% Muslim. 1% fanatic = 5000 people - lunatics wanting to destroy our way of life. It only took a few on the planes on 11/9 and in London on 7/7. perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps the numbers are 2m perhaps they are 1/2 m who knows. The risk is there it is dangerous. ISIL are dangerous

They have done, they just exited Schengen, which means all their borders must be being monitored and people entering and exiting Germany checked. Harrystottle
Angela merkel gave it the "Send me your huddled masses treatment" loud and strong. So now Germany has hundreds of thousands of migrants. So what's the problem? Germany wanted them, Germany's got them, Germany can keep them. Sorted.
