In the UK, however, we get the filtered down version, designed to to brainwash the UK population with the left wing ideals perpetuated by the BBC. We only pay the licence fee, after all. Yes. Are you saying that didn't happen? It was quite upsetting seeing women and children suffering the effects or tear gas. The news also showed young men clambering onto buildings and throwing rocks. Pretty balanced coverage and fair to say that it was pretty damaging to the refugee's plight. People won't remember the injured women and children. They'll remember the rioting that followed. My main feeling is that I just can't believe what I'm seeing. Same as I felt watching the Bosnian war.
