Poor migrants from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan

Lets also not forget the video refugees refusing aid because they had a cross on them (Red Cross). Are these really the people we want to give refuge too?

Good one.......we can demonise refugees for refusing aid as well as asking for it now......next,somebody will come up with a magic trick that gets rid of all poor people, they are so annoying when you have the whole weekend to look forward to.

What are you talking about? References please.

Border between Greece and Macedonia. Police try to distribute aid, but the refugees refuse it. Some say it wasnt to do with the aid coming from the red Cross, while others do. You can make up your own mind.

No one is demonising anyone. That word seems to be the new "Racist" these days used by people who don't understand it and thing it will silence all opposition.

One thing we are told by those who want to open the gates is these people are desperate and need help. But the video shows these people refusing aid. Now on the face of it, ignoring the whole Cross angle, these people are not what we are being told they are.

If these people are asylum seekers they are now safe in Greece. Why do they want to leave if its not for a better life that Greece can provide? Im sorry, just wanting a better life does not give you the right to go to any country and set up home.

The magic trick for getting rid of virtually all poor people in this country has been conjoured already. It was/is called the welfare state and keeping our borders secure. Wealthy and higher income tax payers have been the magicians who have made this possible.

The voters have helped of course also by rejecting socialism and embracing capitalism.

Tadaaaa.

See, the racist card is played by the usual suspects when they have nothing left to reply with, soon,no word that is used to describe what they are trying to do with the anti migrant stuff will be acceptable to them without them claiming that you are trying to call them racist.....there was no coherent answer to demonising them when they ask for aid and demonising them when they don't.........the only answer there was,was to play the racist card.

The frothers need to make their minds up,according to one,we can see that the immigration policy isn't working,as all the immigrants are living in poor areas, now this one is telling us that poverty doesn't exist,so all the immigrants must have got rich all of a sudden............plus,if the borders are secure, how come poor migrants/asylum seekers are 'bleeding us dry'.......and how come a few of them waiting at Calais are causing the frothers so much aggravation......the borders are secure, why would poor people waiting in Calais be a problem?

You seem to be the person playing the cards to try and close down the discussion.

The facts are, this group refused aid. Like I said, we are told that they are desperate poor, and hungry refugees fleeing violence and looking for safety. However the image we are seeing is of people refusing aid, refusing to accept help and wanting to get to the richer nations in the North instead of staying in the safety of the southern European nations and those that boarder the EU.

Can you tell me of the number of people trying to enter the EU, how many are real refugees or how many are just looking for a better life? I'll answer as you probably wont because you know you cant. No, the answer is no, so the EU has the responsibility to its own populations to filter these people so that only those who are in real need to help receive it. If not and we open the flood gates, both the support received by genuine refugees will be diluted and the services within the EU nations will be put under too much strain trying to support all of these people. When 500,000 people arrive in a country a new hospital, school etc doesn't just pop up, neither can the tax contributions of the once that get a job be enough to provide the services they need.

You see what you want to see to justify your selfish and callous disregard for fellow human beings in distress.

We have to take action. Get them in. Get them processed. House the ones that can be here and repatriate the ones who definitely cant.

Its simple. But complex at the same time.

House them where exactly.

Do a Google at 'housing waiting lists' up and down the UK.

Why,what cards have I played to close down the discussion?....you are trying to make something about immigrants refusing aid because it had a cross on,so you are doing what I said, demonising them for refusing aid,and then others are demonising them for 'not staying well away from the UK'..we all know why that is,geography says we should have nothing to do with them,it's the countries with the 'geography problem' that should be dealing with it...........then you want to widen it out to what happens when the 'flood gates open'..hospitals and schools don't pop up in the places that you are saying these people should be staying in either, what about the strain on those countries?..........the underlying message from the anti migrant brigade on here is for them to keep well away from the UK,we don't want them, other countries can deal with them because they are nearer..........geography exempts us........well you go and tell all the migrants that are going to keep heading to Northern Europe to stay where they are, they shouldn't be heading for the rich bits, stay poor and be satisfied you are alive..........good luck with that.
