Such a sad day to say goodbye to such a gentleman, but the sunshine came out at the perfect time. I feel so much for Sue, Nicky, Chris and all of his loving family and hope that they can take some comfort in all the lovely thoughts and wishes sent their way. Thank you to Curriechick, Potlegs, Bushbaby, Zakes and all other forummers who joined me and Den to give our special guy a great send off. We love and miss you Joe. Den and Lin A sad day for everybody. So pleased everything went well. Wish I could have been there ...... any other day and I would have. Couldn't make it today as it is my grandson's birthday. Mum was very overwhelmed by the amount of people there and what a wonderful and fitting tribute it was to dad. He too would have been overwhelmed by it all and I thank you on his behalf.
