mogwai84 Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 My (limited) experience with dealing with noise issues at the council is that they are willing to work with and side with residents. No one on here is really going to have any insight into whether you have a case, or whether you're overreacting. To me it seems reasonable that it ends at 11pm, but if the noise is really loud that it means you can't enjoy your garden or converse with friends then that seems excessive. With the council, make sure you remain positive, balanced and solution-focussed. Make it easy for them to deal with you. Build your case with the neighbours and look for ways to solve the problem, and avoid being obstructive. Keep diaries, recordings and evidence. good luck!
