TheLantern
Blithe Spirit by Noël Coward Novelist Charles Condomine, invites the mysterious Madame Arcati to his home for a séance. Charles intends the evening to be nothing more than research for his new book, hoping to learn some tricks of the trade. However, during the proceedings Madame Arcati falls into a deep trance and unexpectedly summons the ghost of his dead wife, Elvira. Charles is the only one who can see Elvira and she soon mischievously decides it’s time to reclaim her husband. Ruth, his new wife, obviously has something to say about this and is determined to make Charles see sense. Who will be the winner in this improbable supernatural comedy?
