David2585
Depends on circumstances, if this guy was waving an AK 47 infront of my wife and kids then of course im gonna deck him . If hes in the last carriage not mine and I heard noises then id probably just uncouple the carraige and ring the cops.
May Blob
When the Palestinians were attacking Israeli planes etc the Israelis put undercover armed agent on Israeli transport. The Palestinians soon got the message after they ran out of volunteers.
Gamston
Well done to the two brave American marines . The cowardly muslim terrorist was banking on another soft target which seems to be a terrorist's trait . To be fair , I think the British businessman is milking the incident a little . Anna B
I'd love to think I'd be brave and do something, but I'd probably just freeze in a corner. 3 very brave men.
ukdobby
His solicitor wants locking up coming out with a statement like that, even trying to defend what he tried to do,mind you if it was in the UK the 3 lads would get charged with gbh. MickyA
I confronted some guy in a Doncaster club some years back after he pulled out a knife on a girl after she'd slapped him across the face for coming up behind her and putting his hand up her skirt. It's one of those things that if you stopped to think about it you probably wouldn't act but in the heat of the moment you just do. There's very little to choose between being brave and being stupid! medusa
If it was a choice between sit still and die, or fight back and possibly live then I'm sure that would have a big impact upon my thought processes and actions. If I could actually escape then that's a different matter.
cgksheff
On the four occasions when weapons have been presented to threaten my life, my reaction to use verbal interaction has resulted in my preservation. I have never faced a terrorist, but I guess that I would not choose passive death.
