The number of recorded sexual offences on trains and at stations has risen 25% to a record level, British Transport Police (BTP) figures suggest.

BTP recorded 1,399 sexual offences in 2014-15 in England, Scotland and Wales - up 282 on the previous year.

How would segregated carriages stop the offences that take place on stations? Do we know the breakdown of these numbers ie which were on the station and which were actually on board the trains?

From a study of 1600 women 1/3 had been sexually assaulted. 1 in 10 had been raped.

so either a tiny fraction of men have been extremely busy or a larger percentage have comitted crimes.

What would you call a significant amount?

If a third of women have been sexually assaulted...its a significant amount.

best have women only shops, womens hour in the supermarkets, women only bars in pubs, woman's days in town centres, women only taxis and buses, women's areas at football matches. then they could perhaps remove the women from the members area at lords.
