Jonny5
The wooden floor & the tables are tatty. That floor is absolutely disgusting. My dog won't eat off it! ---------- Post added 26-08-2015 at 21:56 ---------- Sheaf View is Heeley innit? Yeah, other side of the rail line from Broadfield at Netheredge innit. 5 minute walk. I don't make a habit of examining pub floors but I would hazard a guess that all of them are pretty grimy considering the clientelle they attract. Does it really matter ? whatsurrp
You're not far from London Road, which has an array of fab restaurants and cafes on. Couple of pubs too. You're also not far from Ecclesall Road which has loads of bars and restaurants on. Majority of bars are for a younger crowd and most of the eateries are pretty good too. Just watch out for drug dealers and druggies
RD_52169
in my opinion the Lescar off Hunters Bar is awesome, a lovely place for a quiet drink and also has a comedy night every Thursday. Its next door to Riley's so if you fancy a game of pool/snooker, you don't have far to go either
