Caravans on football field.

Recommended Posts

There are 11 caravans parked on the field, there were around 8 last night so more caravans have arrived overnight! Does anyone who to call or how to report them? People take their dogs for walks there, children play football there and now we wouldnt dare going near them, its awful but its not fair they can just take want doesnt belong to them, anyways if anyobe know what to do then please share

All I can say is good luck.

At a previous house (2 yrs ago) gypsies moved onto our local field, this led to major fly tipping (including human excrement) noise at all times of the day, and very anti-social behavior.

We spent weeks speaking to the council and the police who 'spoke' to them on many occasions and asked to them to move on, all of which had no impact. Luckily after about 6 weeks they moved on.

After they moved I requested the council installed some sort of barrier to stop road access to the field, to which they declined.

I imagine at some point it will become a gypsie haven again, but luckily I have now moved.

What do you think will happen if you go near them? Genuine question.

Unless you have a lot of support, do not approach them, they get very aggressive!

So are they travellers or people that are staying there while the Sheffield Fayre is on. If it is stall holders etc from the Sheffield Fayre would have thought that there was enough room for them in the park it self and no need to use a local football / playing field.

cant be anything to do with the Norfolk park fayre as they would use the park ,like some of the other stallholders ect, thanks for the compliments for lowedges festival, the Sheffield fayre is supposed to be the cream of scc events,in my opinion its awfull this year and the lack of footfall says the public also think so as well, hope they solve the caravan issue soon
