Berberis
Hello I have a question about archeology when watching time team I was wondering why so much is buried like I saw them unearthing some stone buildings and walls how did they get buried down? Look at it this way. If it wasn't buried, it would have been eroded away by the elements. This was a question posed on the TT forum some years ago. Alcoblog
That old law of parsonimony. Ha ha! … I presume you're referring to the lack of till receipts at T'Asda on T'Cross there. Parsonians are a miserly sub -species aren't they, almost to the point of parsimony! ---------- Post added 01-09-2015 at 12:30 ---------- Alcoblob,I love you,can I come and love in your head? Things get built over. Troy consists of nine different cities and no less than 46 levels of inhabitation at the site. Closer to home, where is Sheffield Castle? Buried under Castle Market. Obelix
They've found 46 horizons in Troy? I knew there were a lot of cities in a big pile but no idea there was that much complexity... one day I'm going to have to visit there now!
