Cleaning a wool suit jacket.

Recommended Posts

Bleach and a Brillo pad shifts most things.

Otherwise, take it to a dry-cleaners. You could ask Ted Baker's too, as they seem a helpful lot.

I certainly wouldn't have tried steam cleaning it to be honest, but you seem to have gotten away with it.

Probably best have a word with Teds brother Tom, who could whip it back in time. Job done, yoghurt still unopened in fridge and poster a very happy man.:)

I'd try one of the Dr Beckmann range of Stain Devils - there's one that tackles dairy products (milk, cream, yoghurt). I've found them effective in the past (although mainly for removing ink or blood stains).

Failing that, I'd recommend Morton's Specialist Dry Cleaners on Huntingtower Road, where I take my precious, one and only suit to be cleaned.

Spilt a load of yoghurt from the fridge on my nice Ted Baker suit jacket, tried to clean it with my steam cleaner, sponging it, etc, but it hasn't worked and splashes are still there, any ideas, will dry clean work?, its a very specialised wool finish.

The wife rubs fairy liquid into stains on clothing , then rubs it off with warm water . It always seems to work for her and saves on the dry cleaning .
