singlegirl
Hello all. My best friend is having a small wedding on Wednesday 16th September at the town hall in Sheffield. Very low key, only 5 of us attending. I would like to find somewhere that we can go afterwards that's a bit special. Thinking of a very early afternoon tea style, not lunch as we are going elsewhere later on. Somewhere where we can take a breath and they can be surprised and feel a bit special. Many thanks in advance.
Jobean
I recently had the new York afternoon tea at Marco Pierre White's at the new hilton hotel. It was gorgeous and just as good as the pictures look online.
DerbyTup
Within a short walk of the Town Hall you have two very nice places on Norfolk Row. Vero Gusto (although this is more of an Italian restaurant/eatery, but if it's just a dessert you are after with good coffee then it's worth considering) or you have Marmadukes cafe/deli on Norfolk Row too. http://www.marmadukescafedeli.co.uk/#about

medusa
Steel City Cakes do a fabulous afternoon tea, but if your friend is wearing a frock that compresses her waistline she will probably feel a bit deprived because of all of the lovely fancies that she won't be able to eat
