Post 4 Thanks for that By the way ive got one and its caught him opening the door. Got one in the front and rear of the car for these special kind of moments. Resident Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Ok, ill play along. How do you work that out? From personal experience with a leaving scene, failure to report & criminal damage. What I had in terms of evidence: Hi-def CCTV, date & time stamped. Forensic evidence (paint transfer from impact & corresponding damage) 2 x independent witness. The two officers that arrived and took my CCTV footage, the witness statements and saw the damage. They were ecstatic, mostly because I'd done their job for them but because it was a slam-dunk. CPS refused to prosecute the criminal charges, citing lack of evidence. The civil action I took, the courts took the opposite view. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
