Guest
It can't be good for Australia's position on the World stage changing their Prime Minister so often . Its position in the world is just fine compared to some countries that have had leaders in place for decades like Cuba for instance and North Korea. Gamston
Its position in the world is just fine compared to some countries that have had leaders in place for decades like Cuba for instance and North Korea. At least other World leaders know the names of the leaders of those two countries you mentioned even though Kim Jong-un has only been the leader of North Korea for about three years . blake
When they said Australia was going to be an Asian country, I had no idea that it was going to turn out as unstable as any of them.
johncocker
[ QUOTE=blake;11152570]banana republic. except it isn't a republic. Australia was vilified by the Left and the bleeding hearts for having a "turn back the boat" policy that stopped waves of tens of thousands of economic migrants pouring into Australia. The fact that when the Left were in power and thousands drowned attempting to get there and was stopped by the Tony Abbott government it has enraged the Left in oz so that at every opportunity they'd seek any reason to attack him and the border protection policy. How many European nations in hindsight would like to reset their immigration/refugee policy to what that"" banana republic""" as done. , but what we are witnessing in Europe now is insane, if they cannot get control back to their borders,it is the beginning of the end of Europe as we know it. btw/ One last thought, how many refugees is Switzerland taking? Not many I guess. Edited September 15, 2015 by johncocker
