Harrystottle
I suppose if you are living on top of one another like rats in a sack, having horrendous commutes and paying a massive mortgage, you are unlikely to be serene. I've been in the Yorkshire wolds recently and North Yorkshire; beautiful, peaceful places.

shanes teeth
Happiness is about the people who you share your life with not where you live or what possession,s you have. I agree to a point but if you're happy with the people you live with and you live in a ****hole, just think how much happier you'd be with those people in a cottage by the seaside with a great big telly. Penistone999
Happiness is about the people who you share your life with not where you live or what possession,s you have. I could never live in a built up urban ,noisy area. =Im happiest where i am , in a very rural location and total piece and quiet . People pay a premium for a rural lifestyle and this is why im so bitterly against building on greenbelt land ,because it would spoil what we pay good money for ........ a tranquil lifestyle without the housing estates and all the problems they bring. tinfoilhat
According to that map Maltby and Wath on Dearne are two of the happiest places to live. And with that information you've discredited the entire thing. I've been to both and there's nothing to be happy about.

Happ Hazzard
This backs up my assertion that we need to reduce the population instead of building millions of new houses.
